Saif Ali Khan
Saif Ali Khan, who is also known as 'Nawab of Pataudi' is an Bollywood actor. He is the son of actress 'Sharmila Tagore' and 'Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi', a ninth Nawab of Pataudi and former Indian cricket team captain. Villagers of Pataudi State proclaimed Saif, the Nawab of Pataudi after the death of his father in 2011. Saif has two sisters, actor 'Soha Ali Khan' and 'Saba Ali Khan'. Khan has done his schooling from 'Lawrence School, Sanawar' and like his father, attended 'Winchester College' of UK. He began his acting career in 1992 with film 'Parampara', but earned success with film 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari' in 1994. After giving several flop films throughout the 1990s, he gained national prominence by his film 'Dil Chahta Hai' in 2001, this film marked his career turning point. In 2003, he starred in film 'Kal Ho Na Ho' and also won 'Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor'. In the following year, he won 'National Film Award for Best Actor' for his film 'Hum Tum'. His further successful movies includes 'Salaam Namaste', 'Race', 'Omkara', 'Parineeta' and 'Love Aaj Kal'. These movies established him in Bollywood industry as a leading actor. In 2010, 'Government of India' awarded Saif with a 'Padma Shri'. Saif Ali Khan got married to actress 'Amrita Singh' in 1991 and divorced in 2004. The couple have two children together- 'Ibrahim Ali Khan' and 'Sara Ali Khan'. Later in 2012, he got married to actress 'Kareena Kapoor'. He owned a film production company named 'Illuminati Films'.
