Born in Mumbai, she hails from a non-acting background and made her movie debut in 2008 in the critically acclaimed period movie 1920 opposite Rajnessh Duggal and directed by Vikram Bhatt. After the success of the movie, Adah Sharma has signed up as spokesperson for many brands and appears in the TV and print ads of renowned brands like Limca, Nokia, Parachute Hair Oil, Olay Natural White and Joyallukas jewelry. In 2011 she got more noticeable roles and starred in the movies Phhir and Hum Hain Raahi Car Ke.
