Benelli TNT 25 vs. KTM Duke 250

KTM 250 Duke was recently launched in India for INR 1,78,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle is an excellent option when considering a quarter liter machine with loads of performance and naked street bike attitude. 250 Duke uses a 248.8 cc, single cylinder engine producing 29.58 BHP at 9000 rpm and 24 Nm at 7500 rpm.

The motorcycle comes with 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch and weighs 161 kg. It comes in two shades, Orange-Black and Black-White while the alloy wheels stay Black in both the color variants. The Indian spec motorcycle loses ABS and Metzeler tyres from its equipment list.

Benelli TNT 25 is the most effective rival for the newly launched 250 Duke. It is powered by a 249 cc, single cylinder engine producing 28.16 BHP at 9800 rpm and 21.61 Nm at 8000 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox but misses out the slipper clutch from its list of features. The motorcycle weighs 159 kg and comes with a bigger 17 liter fuel tank.

The new 250 Duke comes with 13.5 liter fuel tank and hence, covers less kilometers in a single refill. Benelli TNT 25 comes with a low and convenient seat height of 780 mm while the new Duke has a high seat height at 830 mm. TNT 25 comes with a price tag of INR 1,84,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
