Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh is an Indian cricketer, who has been playing ODIs for Indian cricked team since 2000 and played his first test match in 2003. He is the son of former fast bowler and Punjabi actor Yograj Singh. Yuvraj was born on 12 December 1981 in Chandigarh, India. He has been the vice president of ODI team from 2007 to 2008. He was highly popular in news after his six sixes in one over at 2007 World T20 against English bowler Stuart broad. He won Man of the Tournament in the 2011 Cricket World Cup and was one of the top performers at the 2007 World T20. Both the cups were won by India. Yuvraj was recently diagnosed with stage one lung cancer and went under chemotherapy at Boston, USA and Medicine Facilities in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is being expected that he might be nominated for prestigious Arjuna Award by BCCI for his performance in World Cup 2006.
