The Subaru Impreza or also known as Impreza WRC is a compact car created way back in 1993. It was initially introduced by the company called Fuji Heavy Industries after the famous Leone/Loyale was postponed under the old EA series engine. Due to this, the car was formally released equipped with the famous EJ series engine that was found in the bigger version of Subaru Legacy. In terms of its sale in the global market, the car is performing way better than the Subaru Legacy in Japan. This is because of the law on Japanese vehicle size, which provides a cut on tax liability due to its smaller exterior dimensions. The car has also always offered the AWD feature. The company established this feature as the standard equipment in all of the trims. However, the market competitor Mitsubishi Lancer places the same feature to its Ralliart trims and its Evolution versions.
