Sachin Tendulkar was born on 24 April 1973, is an Indian cricketer widely considered to be one of the best batsmen of all time, after Don Bradman. He is the leading run scorer and century maker in Test and one day international cricket. He is the 1st player to score a double century in Men's ODI cricket. Sachin Tendulkar also holds the world record for playing highest number of Test and ODI matches. In 2002, just 12 years into his career, Wisden ranked him the 2nd greatest Test batsman of all time, behind Donald Bradman, and the second greatest one day international batsman of all time, behind Viv Richards. He was a part of the 2011, Cricket World Cup winning team in the later part of his career, his 1st such win in 6 World Cup appearances for India.
