Jatin Khanna popularly known as Rajesh Khanna was a noted film actor, producer and politician. He was the first superstar of Indian film industry. He was born on December 29, 1942 in Amritsar, Punjab. He got married to film actress Dimple Kapadia in 1973. He has 2 daughters, Twinkle Khanna and Rinke Khanna. He acted in 180 movies and was the solo lead actor in 106 movies. He earned 3 Filmfare Best Actor Awards and also won four times BFJA Award for Best Actor. He started his film career in 1966 with movie 'Aakhri Khat' and gained popularity from movies including Raaz, Aradhana and others. He was also honoured with 'Padma Bhushan' award and a postage stamp was also released in 2013 in order to honour this great personality. He was also famous by the name of 'Kaka' among his friends and fans. He was died on July 18, 2012 in Mumbai after prolonged illness.
