BMW is a German manufacturer which is respected all over the globe for it's luxury premium four wheelers. BMW's two wheeler segment BMW Motorrad have also come up with some great offerings for people who love street bikes. One such model is BMW G310R.
BMW G310R is a small 310 cc version of BMW S1000R. This is BMW's first roadster bike which comes in the under 500 cc segment. This model is praised mostly for its styling. BMW is yet to launch G310R in India and is expected by April 2017. G310R is expected to cost something in the range of INR 2.00-2.25 lakhs.
BMW G310R comes with a 313 cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine which has a very impressive performance. The engine gives out a maximum power of 33.6 bhp @ 9500 rpm and gives out a maximum torque of 28 Nm @ 7500 rpm. The bike comes with a 6 speed manual gearbox and is said to deliver a mileage of around 30 kmpl. The bike comes with a multi-plate wet clutch and is said to make it to a top speed of 145 kmph.
The bike has wide array of premium features to woo the buyers. The bike comes with high-performance brake system and ABS as standard. The BMW G310R has a kerb weight of 158.5 kilograms and it comes with an 11 litres fuel capacity. The bike comes loaded with great technology and multifunctional instrument cluster.
The bike has been developed in Munich, Germany and it is manufactured and assembled in India with the help of TVS company. Like the other customers BMW tries to give special treatment to the customers of its two wheeler variant as well. They give you the option of individually tailored optional accessories in the familiar high quality typical of BMW Motorrad (all high end versions).
