TVS Apache RTR 200 – Engineered by the Stopwatch

TVS Apache RTR 200 is one of the most exciting product that entered India in 2016. It was launched in multiple variants but only few made it to the actual dealerships till date. The motorcycle uses a powerful 197.75cc, oil cooled engine, producing 20.23 BHP and 18.1 Nm of torque from the carburetor fed version. The starting price for the same is INR 89,215 while an additional INR 5,000 can help you get the version with Pirelli tyres. The engine on the RTR 200 comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and claims a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 12 seconds.

Apache RTR 200 carries one of the best instrument consoles that can be found on bikes around the segment. The fully digital unit is white back-lit and stays crystal clear in all conditions. It comes with 37 mm telescopic forks for the front and mono-shock for the rear suspension. The optional ABS and fuel injection are still not available in India while they are selling successfully in many other countries. TVS may soon bring all the models to India, once the production parameter is raised at their Chennai plant. Apache 200 is offered in 7 shades and weighs 148 kg with a full fuel tank.
