Triumph Street Triple vs. Triumph Speed Triple
Images and Wallpapers | Added 7 years ago
Triumph Street Triple is the younger member of the triple family, carrying a frugal 675 cc three cylinder engine that is good for 79.3 PS and 57.3 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It can be easily guessed that the motorcycle you see is Street Triple as it uses a double sided swingarm and totally naked design. It even gets a single exhaust can that emits the gases out of all three cylinders. The components used on the same are not as premium as the bigger Speed Triple. The 1049 cc, three cylinder engine on the bigger one is good for 126.7 PS and 104.82 Nm of torque.
Speed Triple uses a premium single sided swingarm with disc brake also pushed in the same direction. The components used on the same are more premium as you can spot Brembo and Showa parts on the Speed Triple. Visually, the higher mounted twin exhaust provides the same with an exclusive presence. The price difference between both the bikes is over INR 3.60 lakh as they are from two different segments of motorcycling world. Notice the tank scoop, twin exhaust, swingarm, bigger discs and headlight fairing to see which bike is actually standing in front of you on the road.
