Top 15 Bikes in India under Rs 2 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi)
Indian buyers are left with not more than a handful of option when considering a motorcycle between INR 1 lakh-2 lakh. The range starts from Royal Enfield Bullet 350 at INR 1.13 lakh while goes up to INR 1.85 lakh for the Benelli TNT25.
The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom Delhi and does not include products that cross INR 1 lakh mark in several states. If you are looking for a list that has the top bikes to consider under INR 1 lakh, here is a list with top 10 bikes for the money.
Top 10 Bikes in India Under INR 1 lakh
Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is also available in electric start and 500cc variants, placed at a higher point and carrying extended feature list and bigger engine respectively. Yamaha offers R15 and FZ25 in India, carrying a price tag of INR 1,19,800 and INR 1,20,400.
The list goes on with Bajaj Pulsar RS200, also offering ABS on the higher priced model for INR12,000. You can spot various motorcycles on the list with bigger displacement engines and they will have a mentioned note for other available models under the image.
Royal Enfield's highest selling motorcycle is the fifth one on list with a price tag of INR 1.33 lakh. It rivals the Bajaj Dominar 400, carrying a price tag of INR 1.39 lakh. Not just that, Bajaj offers the Dominar with dual channel ABS for INR 1.53 lakh.
KTM enters the list with Duke 200, carrying a price tag of INR 1,43,500. The different genre of bikes make them totally different from each other but similar pricing places them in the same bracket. The list goes on with Thunderbird 350 priced at INR 1.45 lakhs.
Royal Enfield Himalayan is then placed at INR 1.60 lakh while UM Renegade Sport S can be bought for 1.68 lakh. The list continues with KTM RC 200 and Duke 250, both placed right next to each other for a difference of INR 1300 only.
Mahindra's versatile Mojo 300 is the next big thing at INR 1,73,300 while buyers can opt for Renegade Commando or Benelli TNT 25 if tourer is not on the cards. Royal Enfield Continental GT was once under this segment but now has been slightly placed above Rs 2 lakh. RE Continental is now priced at INR 2.05 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Note: We didn't include Honda CBR150R and CBR250R in this list as these 2 bikes have been removed from the official website and are temporarily unavailable in India. Honda will soon relaunch the 150cc and 250cc CBRs in India with BS4 engine and AHO headlight.
The 500cc Royal Enfield motorcycles are powered by a 499cc single cylinder engine, which develops maximum power of 27.2 Bhp and maximum torque of 41.3 nm. The engine is mated to a 5 s-peed gearbox.
