Bajaj Dominar 400 is undoubtedly the most powerful motorcycle around its segment. Dominar made it possible for riders to buy 373 cc of displacement under the price tag of premium 200 cc motorcycle. Bajaj has even made it easy for buyers to opt for Dominar 400 as it can now be bought from 56 cities (28 States, 1 UT and National Capital) across India. It was once sold in just 22 cities while the current cities also cover popular Tier 2 cities.

Bajaj made it clear that every dealership has to follow certain minimum standards to sell Dominar and this makes it clearly visible that dealerships are being updated with passing time. The motorcycle is actually more demanded in the Tier 2 cities as most major cities mostly opt for the expensive KTM 390 Duke. The company sold a total of 3000 units before the end of January 2017. This new move will further increase the sales of the motorcycle among major Indian cities that were missed earlier.

Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by a 373.3 cc, single cylinder engine producing 35 PS at 8000 rpm and 35 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch while the motorcycle claims a top speed of 148 kmph. The speedometer indicated top speed has been claimed to be 162 kmph by various riders. It comes with full LED headlamps, larger 320 mm front disc brake and a mouth watering price tag of INR 1,36,001 (ex-showroom Delhi).
