Bajaj Avenger is an exclusive series of motorcycles that has no direct rival in the country. It falls in the cruiser segment and starts way before the budget for any other cruiser, typically Royal Enfield motorcycles in India. Bajaj has updated the lineup with three different variant and all of them carry two exclusive shades of their own for unique character and identity. The two engines available in the lineup includes 150cc and 220cc.
The 150cc, single cylinder engine on the Avenger 150 Street is good for 14.3 BHP at 9000 rpm and 12.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. This makes it good for better mileage and comfortable city riding character. It comes with 14 liters fuel tank and can be bought in Midnight Blue and Cosmic Red shade. These Matt shades are youth specific while its price tag of INR 78,988 (ex-showroom Delhi) makes it even favorable for first time buyers.
The 220cc engine on the Avenger is good for 18.8 BHP and 17.5 Nm of torque. It can be bought in two different variant, 220 Street and 220 Cruise. The former comes in Matte Wild Green and Matte Black shade. These look mature and targets experienced yet street focused rider. Avenger 220 Cruise uses a lot of chrome and comes with certain touring specific accessories like front windshield and spoke rims. It can be bought in Divine Black and Desert Gold shade.
