HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5 are the flagship Android smartphones by the respective companies. Samsung Galaxy S5 Octa-core is powered by dual quad-core processors, coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of internal memory. The memory can further be expanded with the help of a memory card up to 128 GB. The screen size of the phone is 5.1-inch with a display resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. Like some of the Sony Xperia smartphone, the Galaxy S5 is also dust-proof and water-proof and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The primary camera of this smartphone is 16MP with a photo resolution of 5312x2988 pixels and it can shoot videos of 2160p at 30 frames per second. The operating system of Galaxy S5 is Android v4.4.2 KitKat and the approx. market price of the handset is Rs. 51,500. It is available in four shades: Blue, Black, White and Gold.

HTC One M8 is the 2014 edition of the ‘One’ series and it is powered by a 2.5 GHz Krait 400 quad-core processor with 2 GB of RAM and 16/32 GB of internal memory. The internal memory of the phone is also expandable via microSD card up to 128 GB. The screen size of HTC One M8 is 5-inch with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 441ppi as the pixel per inch density. It is equipped with dual 4MP Ultra-pixel rear cameras and the front camera is 5MP, which can shoot full HD videos at 30 frames per second. HTC One M8 is available in three shades: Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold with an approximate price tag of Rs. 49,900. Like the Galaxy S5 Octa-core, One M8 also runs on Android KitKat v4.4.2.
