Suzuki GSX-250R is another attractive offering by the Japanese giant in the 250cc segment. This sport bike carries the name of brand with good features and signature Suzuki body line. Suzuki pays very close attention to the aesthetics, the superbike comes with a very muscular frame. The Super bike has some drool-worthy features and comes with sharp edges and heightened split seat.
Suzuki GSX-250 R comes with a 2 cylinder liquid cooled 248cc engine. The engine gives a maximum power of 25 PS @ 8000 rpm and gives a torque of 23.3 Nm @ 6500 rpm. The bike offers a standard 6 speed gearbox and the engine is fuel injected. The bike comes with a 15 litres fuel tank capacity. Suzuki has inserted some key components in the bike such as tail light LEDs and 55W front headlight.
The bike has a massive wheelbase of 1430 mm. The bike weighs 178 kilograms and also comes with an option to have ABS technology. GSX-250 R is expected to cost INR 3,00,000 if it is launched in India. It is safe to expect a mileage of 25-30 kmpl from this two-wheeler given it is smoothly handled, which is not bad in the 250 cc segment. The Suzuki GSX-250R seems heavily inspired from its elder sibling GSX-R1000.
The bike also has a lot of components taken from Gixxer 155. The fully digital instrument console also gives a very urban feel to the bike. It is available in 4 color options – Red, Black, Signature Suzuki Blue and White. Suzuki GSX-250R is a highly competitive offering and falls in the same segment as Yamaha YZF-R25, Honda CBR250RR, Hyosung GT250R and Kawasaki Ninja 250, but Suzuki is the most least-powered sport bike in comparison to all these bikes.
