Bajaj Dominar 400 is currently the closest rival to Royal Enfield Classic 350 in India. The recently arrived sports cruiser is powered by a 373.2 cc, single cylinder liquid cooled and fuel injected engine producing 35 PS at 8000 rpm and 35 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and uses slipper clutch for better riding dynamics. It is one of the most advanced motorcycle around the segment, carrying features like full LED headlight, 150/60-R1717 rear tyre, 2-channel ABS and fully digital instrument console.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a retro modern street motorcycle that uses a 346cc, single cylinder air cooled engine producing 20 PS at 5250 rpm and 28 Nm at 4000 rpm. The gearbox on use is a five speed unit. It comes with features like a front disc brake but lacks the safety as well as performance features of the Dominar 400. It claims just 110-120 kmph of top speed while Dominar claims 156 kmph.
