Honda CBR250R has been a long surviving motorcycle in the quarter liter segment of Indian motorcycling, It is even one of the most reliable machines available in India on the present day. The powerful 249cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine is good for 26.15 BHP at 8500 rpm and 22.9 Nm at 7000 rpm. It was definitely the best motorcycle in India after Yamaha R15 in its time. The power was good enough to pull the same from 0-100 kph in just 8.90 seconds. It claims a top speed of 145 kmph and even comes with optional ABS for INR 1,89,592. The motorcycle comes with 780 mm of impressive seat height.
Yamaha FZ25 is another entry into the quarter liter segment and is definitely providing value for money performance in the real world driving conditions. It is powered by a 249 cc, fuel injected engine that is good for 20.69 BHP at 8000 rpm and 20 Nm at 6000 rpm. The motorcycle features a lightweight construction and weighs just 148 kg with full 14 liter fuel tank. It costs just INR 1,19,500 and comes with oil cooler for further refinement. The best part for the same is its LED headlight while it stays INR 40,000 lower than the CBR250R. FZ25 is offered in 3 shades namely Ballistic Blue, Warrior White and Knight Black.
