Bajaj Pulsar NS200 vs. Yamaha FZ25

2017 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 was recently launched with a price tag of INR 96,453 (INR 97,715 - Current Ex-showroom Delhi Price). NS200 was highly awaited due to its excellent performing engine and the eye catchy street fighter design. Before the same could make an official entry into India, Yamaha launched the all-new FZ25 for INR 1,19,500 (INR 1,19,335 Current Ex-Showroom Delhi Price).

The price difference between both the bikes is quite significant but the performance figures are actually more comparable than many same segment bikes in the Indian market. Both the motorcycles are BS4 compliant, hence contributing less to the increasing pollution. Yamaha FZ25 is good for relaxed riding while Bajaj Pulsar is good for frequent redlining.

Yamaha FZ25 is powered by a 249 cc, fuel injected engine producing 20.69 BHP at 8000 rpm and 20 Nm at 6000 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and claims a wet weight of just 148 kg. The motorcycle uses LED headlights and comes in three shades namely Warrior White, Knight Black and Ballistic Blue. Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is good for 23.17 BHP at 9500 rpm and 18.3 Nm at 8000 rpm from its 199.5 cc, liquid cooled engine. The motorcycle weighs 152 kg and comes with a 6-speed gearbox.
