Bajaj Pulsar NS160 vs. TVS Apache RTR 160 4V vs. Honda CB Hornet 160R

Bajaj Pulsar NS160 was recently launched in India at INR 78,400 (ex-showroom Delhi). The current price for the bike is INR 81,626. The motorcycle carries exactly the same looks as NS200, making it the most impressively designed 160cc motorcycle in the Indian market.

Bajaj is using a 160.3 cc, single cylinder oil-cooled engine producing 15.3 Bhp at 8500 rpm and 14.6 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Few things that make NS160 lesser tempting than the rivals include a small 240 mm front disc brake, no rear disc brake and thinner tyres.

The closest rival of NS160 is the 2018 model of TVS Apache RTR 160. It is powered by a 159.7cc, single cylinder oi-cooled engine producing 16.5 BHP at 8000 rpm and 14.8 Nm at 6500 rpm. It comes with a price tag of INR 84,490 for the dual disc model.

Honda CB Hornet 160R is priced at INR 86,823 and comes with huge 100 and 140 mm tyres at front and rear end respectively. It even comes with CBS (Combined Braking System) on the top spec variant.
