Mahindra Mojo is a premium tourer from the homegrown automaker. First of its kind from an Indian manufacturer, Mojo brings hope for those who prefer carrying themselves with utmost luxury at all times. It is powered by a smooth, single cylinder 294.72 cc engine, producing 26.82 BHP at 8000 rpm and 30 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and weighs 182 kg with full fuel tank.
The motorcycle uses premium parts that are missing from most modern Indian motorcycles due to cost cutting, including those helpful Pirelli Diablo Rosso II and USD front forks. Mahindra offers the Mojo with a large 21 liter fuel tank, making it good for around 600 kilometers in a single refill. The fairly high 173.5 mm of ground clearance and 814.5 mm of seat height makes the motorcycle as well as the rider safe from many unwanted conditions.
The engine on the other hand is fuel injected and liquid cooled, protecting itself against both extreme hot and cold conditions. It retails for an ex-showroom Delhi price of INR 1,74,500. The claimed top speed of 155 kmph may let the rider feel some vibrations around his/her body while the quick, 9.5 second sprint from 0-100 kmph makes it fairly good among other in its segment.
