Kawasaki Z series currently has five models on sale in India. They are willingly away from the single cylinder Z bikes while the range starts right from the twin cylinder Z250 in the Indian market. The motorcycle comes with a 249 cc engine producing 32 PS at 11000 rpm and 21 Nm at 10000 rpm. It weighs just 168 kg and comes with a price tag of INR 3,08,000. Z250 is good for a top speed of 165 kmph while its 17 liter fuel tank helps it claim extensive driving range within a single refill.

The most effectively placed motorcycle is Kawasaki Z650. It comes with a price tag of INR 4.99 lakh but brings a massive 649 cc engine producing 68 PS at 8000 rpm and 65.7 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox while Kawasaki has even provided dual channel ABS on the motorcycle. When moving ahead, the brand jumps to Z900 at INR 7.68 lakh. The recently launched motorcycle is a very powerful street machine with 125 PS at 9500 rpm and 98.6 Nm at 7700 rpm.

It weighs 210 kg and helps the rider achieve an effective power to weight ratio while riding hard. Kawasaki then offers Z1000 at INR 15.10 lakh. It comes with a 1043 cc engine producing 142 PS at 10000 rpm and 111 Nm at 7300 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and claims a top speed of 258 kmph. The top spec variant of the same bike, Z1000R, comes with race spec components and gets a price tag of INR 16.10 lakh. It stays on the top of all others naked street fighters in the lineup.
