Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 was recently launched in India for INR 5,86,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle shares most of its parts with Street 750 while commands a different territory with its enhanced performance parts. The 749 cc, V-twin motor on the Street Rod 750 is good for 62 Nm at 4000 rpm. It uses the same 6-speed gearbox while gets a raised overall wet weight of 238 kg. It claims a higher seat height (765 mm) and further improves practicality with 205 mm of ground clearance. Improved equipment includes dual front disc brakes, front USD suspension and rear gas charged dual shocks.
Harley Davidson Street 750 uses the same engine but produces 59 Nm at 3750 rpm. It measures 2215 mm, making it 85 mm longer than the Street Rod. The wet weight (233 kg) of Street 750 is even slightly lower while its seat height claimed by Harley Davidson is just 720 mm. This further makes it lower and offers just 145 mm of ground clearance. Street 750 comes with different set of wheels and alloy design while Street Rod 750 has bigger 120 mm and 160 mm tyres as standard. HD Street 750 is prices at INR 4,91,00 for the base variant. Both the bikes will target a completely different set of audience.
