Honda CLIQ vs. Honda Activa 4G
Honda Cliq was recently launched in India for INR 42,500. The focus of Cliq remains on the rural market as Honda has equipped the same with block pattern tyres, least body panels and a different front body design. Based on the same frame as other Honda scooters, Cliq is quite different with its exterior look.
It carries a body studded headlight that seems to be shared with another Honda vehicle and leaves the handlebar area naked unlike most scooters. The mirrors are even shared with entry level Honda motorcycles. The seat stays flat while a small 3.5 lite fuel tank is used on the new Cliq. Honda Activa 4G uses a bigger 5.3 liter fuel tank, conventional body panels and 6 kg or more body weight than Honda Cliq. The 109.2 cc engine on both the scooters have slightly different outputs.
Cliq is good for 8 BHP at 7000 rpm and 8.94 NM at 5500 rpm while Activa produces 8 BHP at 7500 rpm and 9 Nm at 5500 rpm. Both the scooter use automatic gearbox and not just that, other components like braking and suspension also remains same on both of them. Honda Activa 4G is priced at INR 51,200. Cliq is offered in four different shades while Activa offers seven shades on the 4G model.
