Children's Day: Stop Child Labour and Abuse

'Children's day' is the special day for children. In India, this day is celebrated on November 14th which is also the birth date of India's first Prime Minister, 'Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru'. He was popular as 'Chacha Nehru' among the children.

He was very fond of children and always do efforts for their welfare & development. This is because his birthday is celebrated as 'Children's Day'. Celebrations of this occasion include Cultural activities, distribution of sweets, functions, competitions. This day also remind every person about their duties towards the children.

'Child labour' and 'Child' abuse has become a very big problem these days, which is affecting the growth of children. But you should take care of the factors which are responsible for the child abuse and labour. By taking care of some points you can stop these activities such as: report immediately about the suspected abuse, promote programs in school and help develop parenting resources.
