Bajaj Pulsar NS160 was recently launched in India for INR 78,400 (ex-showroom Delhi). The 160.3cc, single cylinder oil cooled engine on the motorcycle is good for 15.5 PS at 8500 rpm and 14.6 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

This comes as the first Bajaj Pulsar that balances torque with the weight of their machine, helping rider attain the best ever city riding experience in this class of a motorcycle. NS160 weighs 142 kg and claims an approx. top speed of 120 kmph. It rivals none other than Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ Fi and Honda CB Hornet 160R.

The motorcycle is fully inspired from Pulsar NS200. The bigger street fighter is powered by a 199.5cc, single cylinder liquid cooled engine producing 23.5 PS at 9500 rpm and 18.3 Nm at 8000 rpm. NS200 uses a 6-speed gearbox, claiming a top speed of approx. 136 kmph.

The differences in both the bikes are clearly visible through wider wheels, an additional rear disc brake and large front disc on NS200. One can even notice the large 160 moniker on dark themed body panels of NS160 while NS200 uses lighter (Grey finished) tank extensions and rear panel on the same components.
