Top 25 Best-Selling Cars in India [Monthly Sales Report - September 2020]

After the severe impact of Coronavirus for more than five months, the automotive industry has started showing positive signs in terms of sales in September 2020. The list featuring the top 25 best-selling cars in the Indian market for last month has eight cars with a 5-digit sales number.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift registered a sales figure of 22,643 units and grabbed the first position. The next four positions on the list have also been bagged by Maruti Suzuki. Following them is Hyundai’s Creta SUV that posted a sales figure of 12,325 units and ranks at the sixth position in the list of top 25 best-selling cars for September 2020.

Kia Sonet, one of the latest cars for the Indian market, has also entered the list of top 25 cars and ranks at the 11th position with 9,266 units on its side. With this sales figure, it has become the best-selling compact SUV in India. Hyundai Aura and Xcent have managed to post a combined sales number of 3,882 units and they rank at the last position in the list.
