KTM X-BOW GT: Breathtaking Performance

KTM X-Bow is the only four-wheeled machine in the KTM lineup. A proper race machine, X-Bow is powered by a 1984 cc, 4-cylinder engine producing 285 HP at 6400 rpm and 420 Nm at 3200 rpm. Ever after carrying such powerful engine, it weighs just 847 kg and carries a huge 40 liter fuel tank. KTM has made the X-Bow GT in such a way that is takes just 4.1 seconds to sprint from 0-100 kmph while claimed top speed for the same is 231 kmph. X-Bow uses a 6-speed manual gearbox while the wheelbase measures 2430 mm.
The design of X-Bow is clearly years ahead from most race cars and not just that, it uses a reasonably smaller engine but performs better in all aspects. The car is rear wheel drive and uses a mechanical slip differential. It produce 25 kg of down force at 100 kmph while the same raises to 100 kg at 200 kmph. The track specific machine costs $94,323 (INR 60.50 lakh) and measures 3738 mm in length, 1915 mm in width and just 1202 mm in height. It can accommodate a total of two passengers and emits 189 g of CO2 every kilometer.
A direct rival for the KTM X-Bow GT is hard to find while wheels on offer include 205/40-17 at the front and 255/35-18 at the rear. The weight distribution on the X-Bow for front and rear is 38:62 while it takes 32.9 meters of road to brake from 100 kmph to standstill.
