Mahindra & Mahindra has recently introduced a new UV – XUV 500 which is a new car built by the design team. It is having a 2179cc, 140 bhp engine which powers Scorpio and Xylo also. It is available in two variants. Mahindra XUV500 gives a mileage of 12kmpl in the city and 14kmpl on the highways. Its fuel tank capacity is about 70 liters. It is having a 6 speed manual transmission. It has a length of 4585mm and a width of 1890mm and its height is 1785mm. Its wheelbase is 2700mm and it is having a turning radius of 5.6m. A lot of consideration has been given to safety measures while designing XUV 500. There are airbags for driver and the front passenger. The brake system is of latest technology having all the ingredients of international standards.
