Ritu Chaudhry is an Indian award-winning actress, model and VJ. She is more famous with her screen name, Mahima Chaudhary. She first appeared in the movie Pardes in 1997, and it earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Film Debut for portraying a village girl. She then continued on making movies, taking up a variety of roles, from being a prostitute in the movie “Daag: The Fire” in 1999, to a woman who is in love with someone who is in love with someone else in “Dhadkan” in 2000, to a tenant who does not want to give up the house that she is renting whatsoever in Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar in 2001. Just recently, she was part of the movie “Pusher”, wherein she acted alongside Mani Liaqat. Her superb acting skills made her famous and popular and earned her many nominations throughout her career. She has won awards from Face of the Year to Best Supporting Actress and received nomination for Best Actress.
