Hyundai Veloster

Hyundai Veloster is a compact three door car manufactured by Korean automaker Hyundai Motor Company in the year 2011. The car was launched at Detroid Auto Show on January 10, 2011. The car is first of Hyundai’s Youth Lab sub brand which is targeted towards young generation of drivers. The car differs from its other contemporary model due to asymmetrical three door configuration, with two doors being on the passenger side and one large door on driver’s side. Hyundai Veloster was nominated for Sporty Coupe of International Car of the Year in 2012. The car has Veloster Turbo 1591cc engine. The 2012 model has 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic transmission. The production model in most of the world has 1.6 litre four cylinder engines with 123 lb of torque at 4865 rpm. A six speed manual gearbox is standardized with 6-speed transmission. The car is priced at US$ 17,300.
