Interceptor is another known name of Honda VFR800 which is manufactured by Honda since 1998. This model is introduced after VFR750F which was manufactured from 1986 to 1997. Honda VFR800 was designed to upgrade the motorcycle to be in the competition in the market against Triumph and Ducati. This motorcycle belongs to Sport touring bike class. There is completely redesigned and retuned engine used in VFR800 to make it as a better motorcycle with better performance. The engine that is used in VFR800 is 782cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke 16-valve DOHC V4. All VFR800 models are designed using fuel injection instead of carburetors for fuel-air mixing. Even the torque is improved from the previous models with 80 N-m (59 ft-lbf) at 8,750 rpm. The transmission system that is used in Interceptor is 6-speed cahin drive. Dimentions of this model are 2,120 mm (83 in) of Length, 735 mm (28.9 in) of Width and 1,195 mm (47.0 in) of height. With 218.2 kg weight, this model is able to carry 22 Litter
