The X5, also known as the BMW X5, is known in the global international auto market as a luxury crossover SUV that was originally introduced to the public in the year 1999. The car is BMW’s first generation E53. The car was also the company’s first Sport Utility Vehicle, which is also called by the term as Four-by-Four in the United Kingdom. This BMW car features all-wheel drive that was tagged and branded as the famous X drive system. This car is available in both manual and automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the second generation model of the X5, also known as the E70, was first launched in the year 2006. Its first M version, moreover, was officially announced in the year 2009, barely four years ago in the global auto market. The company describes this car as a Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV) instead of the usual SUV in hopes of emphasizing to consumers the car’s on-road ability despite its huge size.
