Zarine Khan is an Indian actress and model who appears in Bollywood Hindi films. She was born on 14 May 1987 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Her debut Bollywood film was period film Veer released in 2010 opposite co-star Salman Khan. Zarine was initially most noted for her resembling looks with Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif. She appeared in an item number in 2011’s second biggest hit Ready co-starring Salman Khan. Recently Zarine gave multi-starrer block buster hit of 2012 Housefull 2, which was a huge commercial success. She was born in a Muslim, Pathan family and speaks fluent Urdu, Hindi and Marathi. Zarine was first noticed by Salman Khan on the sets of Yuvraj. He introduced her with the role of a 19th century princess due to her sweet looks. The film however turned out to be flop and she had trouble finding roles in films. However in 2012, her next film was a huge success. She is now working in an upcoming film Partner 2.
