The Tata Safari Dicor is the first SUV to be designed, developed and manufactured entirely in India. The vehicle was first released with a 2.0liter turbo diesel engine in the year 1998. It comes with a dimension of 4650mm in length, a width of 1918mm and a height of 1925mm. It comes with a wheelbase length of 2650mm. It’s a 5 door SUV and its manufactures are the Tata Motors. Tata unveiled the 2.2 liter Safari Dicor with an increased power output of 143PS in October 2007. However, a more advanced Dicor 2.2 Variable Turbine Technology VVT replaced it shortly with a power output of 140PS at 4000rpm and a peak torque of 320Nm at 1700rpm.
