Swapnil Joshi is an Indian actor, born on October 18, 1977. He is well known for his comic roles. Born in Mumbai, he has done his schooling from 'Byramjee JeeJeebhoy Parsee Institution' and completed his graduation in commerce stream from 'Sydenham College'. He began his acting career at the age of nine with a role in a sequel to 'Ramayana', 'Uttar Ramayana' in 1986. Later, he gained national prominence with his role in TV series 'Krishna' in 1993. His another Hindi TV serials includes 'Hudd Kar Di', 'Amanat' and 'Des Mein Nikla Hoga Chand'. Major turning point came in his career, when he turned Comedian and performed in comedy show 'Comedy Circus'. He then performed in the other two series of Comedy circus too. He continued his work in TV series like 'Papad Pol' and 'Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai' at SAB TV. He has also featured in Marathi serials like 'Fu Bai Fu' and 'Eka Lagnachi Dusri'. His Marathi films in a lead role was Mumbai- Pune- Mumbai and Checkmate.
