Sonakshi Sinha: About

Sonakshi Sinha is an Indian movie actress and model. She is the daughter of popular actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha and Punam Sinha. Sonakshi Sinha was born on 2 June, 1987 in Patna. After completing her education in Fashion Designing course from SNDT, Mumbai; she started her career as a model in the Lakme Fashion week 2008. She also applied her education for designing in the movie Mera Dil Leke Deko in 2005. Sonakshi had her acting debut in 2010 with the film Dabangg (fearless) in opposite of co-actor Salman Khan. This movie was one of the biggest business success movies in the Bollywood film industry. She won “Filmfare” and “Zee Cine” Award for Best Female Debut” for the Rajjo character in Dabangg. She has other upcoming movies like “Rowdy Rathore”, “Joker”, “Lootera”, “Son Of Sarder” and “Dabangg 2” which are about to release in 2012. Sonakshi also appeared as the cover girl of the Indian edition of Maxim Magazine for the month of December 2010.
