Shoaib Akhtar, a former Pakistani cricketer, was born on 13 August 1975 in Morgah, a small town near Rawalpindi, Punjab in Pakistan. He did his schooling from Elliott High School, Morgah and then he took admission in the Asghar Mall College, Rawalpindi, but then along with his family, he moved to Karachi for further education. He is recognized as one of the best fast bowlers in history. He also holds the record for being the fastest bowler in the history of international cricket. In November 1997, he made his Test debut and played his first One Day International four months later. As an attack bowler, he played on Pakistan's Cricket Team. He has been involved in numerous controversies during his career.
