Preity Zinta born 31st July 1985 is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood movies, as well as Telugu, English as well as Punjabi language films. Preity Zinta made her debut in ‘Dil Se’ followed by ‘Soldier’ the same year in 1998 for which she earned best actress in a debut role. Preity received best actress award in 2003 for her performance in ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’. The same year, she appeared in ‘Koi Mil Gaya’, which came out to be the biggest commercial hit of that year. ‘Veer Zaara’ (2004) bagged her critical acclaim. In 2006 she portrayed a role of modern independent Indian women in ‘Salaam Namaste’. Her first role in international film was ‘Heaven On Earth’. She is the owner of IPL cricket team Kings XI Punjab, along with her partner Ness Wadia. She has also received bravery award for speaking against Indian mafia. Preity Zinta has huge contribution to Indian cinema by playing a variety of roles and providing a change to the concept of Hindi film heroine.
