The famous Indian Bollywood actress Neetu Singh aka 'Neetu Kapoor' (8 July 1958, Delhi) started her acting career at the very age of 8 with the name 'Baby Sonia' in 1966. Her notable movies as a child artists are 'Dus Lakh', 'Do Kaliyaan', 'Waris' and 'Pavitra Paapi'. She has done over 60 films making her debut as a lead actress in 'Rikshawala' (1972), which was a failure. Next she did a small role in the hit 1973 movie 'Yaadon Ki Baarat', and her astonishing dance number 'Lekar Hum' lead her towards many successful films. She has worked with leading actors like 'Randhir Kapoor, 'Shashi Kapoor', 'Amitabh Bachchan', 'Jeetendra', 'Shatrughan Sinha' and 'Rishi Kapoor' in movies such as 'Khel Khel Mein', 'Kabhie Kabhie', 'Amar Akbar Anthony', 'Doosra Aadmi', 'Deewaar', 'Adalat', 'Dharam Veer', 'Jaani Dushman' and 'Kaala Patthar' etc. Neetu has done around 11 films with 'Rishi Kapoor' and fell in love with him. She married Rishi in 1980 and retired from the film industry in 1983 after getting married in the famous Kapoor family. The duo has two children: Daughter 'Riddhima', a fashion designer and son 'Ranbir Kapoor', a successful Bollywood actor. She has now returned to films after 26 years with movies like 'Love Aaj Kal' (2009), 'Do Dooni Chaar' (2010) and 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' (2012) coming out opposite her hubby.
