Yamaha MT-125 - Don't be afraid of the Dark!

Yamaha, the popular name in the two-wheelers segment, has added one more street fighter motorcycle 'MT -125' in its portfolio to raise its position in the market. This stunning bike comes with the sporty looks and features. It is expected to launch in India in the mid of 2015. Yamaha has already launched the MT-09 and MT-07 in its MT series.
The all-new naked chassis of the MT-125 with a bold mass forward look, is the eye-catching feature of the bike. Its newly designed lower seat with the comfortable passenger seat and new footrest will definitely give you a joy ride. Face of the bike is designed with stylish low angular headlamps, which help in enhancing beauty.
The bike houses a full LED instrument panel for the clear view and it provides digital speedometer, engine temperature and fuel level, so that you don't face any discomfort while riding.
Under the hood, it houses a 124.7cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valves SOHC engine which produces the maximum power of 15.0PS at 9000 rpm and maximum torque of 12.4Nm at 8000 rpm.
Suspension duties are handled by 130mm upside-down telescopic forks at the front and 114mm linked monoshock with spring preload adjustment at the rear. MT-125 rides on a 180/80-17 tyre at front and 130/7-17 tyre at rear with the stopping power provided by hydraulic single disc brakes at both ends.
Yamaha MT-125 has a length of 1955 mm, width of 740 mm, and height of 1040 mm as its dimensions. The wheelbase and minimum ground clearance of the bike is 1355 mm and 140 mm respectively. It holds the fuel tank capacity of 11.5-litres which is good enough for the city tour.
Yamaha MT-125 comes in three color options including Anodized Red, Matt Grey and Race Blue. You will be able to buy this fully featured sporty bike at Rs. 80000 (approx., may vary).
