Samsung Galaxy S5 Octa-Core: All You Need to Know

Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy S5 Octa-core in India with a price tag of Rs. 51,500. It is going to compete with the likes of HTC One M8 and Sony Xperia Z2. The Galaxy S5 is powered by an 8-core processor (Quad-core, 1.9 GHz Cortex-A15 & quad-core, 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7) with 2GB of RAM.
The internal memory of the phone is 16/32GB and it can further be expanded with the help of a memory card up to 128GB. The screen size of this Android smartphone is 5.1-inch with a display resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and Galaxy S5 is also water and dust resistant.
The primary camera and secondary camera of the phone are 16MP and 2MP respectively. Some of key characteristics of the camera are: 1/2.6'' Sensor Size, 1.12 µm Pixel Size, Dual Shot, Simultaneous HD video and image recording and HDR. Samsung Galaxy S5 is available in 4 shades: White, Black, Gold and Blue. The operating system of the phone is Android v4.4.2 KitKat.Other key features of S5 are: IP67 Certification for dust and water protection, Finger Print Based Biometric Technology, Built-in Heart-rate Monitor, Kids Mode, Private Mode, Download Booster and S Health v3.0.
