Kashmira Shah: About

Born in 1970 in Mumbai, Kashmira Shah is an Indian model and actress who is the granddaughter of Anjanibai Lolekar, a famous Hindustani classical singer. She has joined beauty contests namely, Miss University World and is a Miss India talent winner. Kashmira Shah has several movies under her belt, and her performances in the movies Yes Boss, My Bollywood Bride and a couple of other made her well-known. She is very good at dancing, and it was noted in her dance scenes in the movies Aankhen and Vaastav. Her role in the movie Jungle earned her a nomination in the category “Best Female in a Negative Role” at the Screen Videocon Awards in 2000. She also joined a few reality shows. In 2006 she joined the Indian Big Brother entitled Big Boss but was eliminated. She joined a dance reality show Kabhi Kabhii Pyaar Kabhi Kabhii Yaar in 2008 and she and partner Krushna Abhishek eventually won the show. They also appeared in another reality show Love Lock Up in 2011.
