Kangna Ranaut is an Indian actress born in the 20th of March 1987 in the small town of Bhambla located in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. A lead role in the 2006 Hindu film Gangster served as her acting debut. She is also an award-winning actress as she grabbed two awards from renowned award-giving bodies such as Filmfare and National Film Award. The latter gave her the Best Supporting Actress award for her acting as a problematic model in the 2008 film Fashion. In real life, her parents are professionals: a school teacher and a businessman. Moreover, Kangna Ranaut also has an older sister named Rangoli. They also have a younger brother whose name is Akshit. Their older relatives are the Rajputs who hail from Jaipur. They enjoy a link to the royal family. She attended school in Dehradun. But after spending some months in college, she pursued her modeling career in Delhi in 2003 and became part of the Elite Modelling Agency.
