Jaya Prada: About
Jaya Prada is both an Indian actress and a politician born on the 3rd of April in1962. Her rich career has let her star in several if not hundreds of films in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, and Malayalam. Her career started to bloom in the 70s and over the years she has bagged nomination for three Best Actress awards for three different films. The first one was for the film “Sargam” in 1979, followed by her performance in “Sharaabi” in 1985 and the latest was in 1986 for “Sanjog”. In 1983, she finally grabbed her very own Best Actress award from Filmfare for Saagara Sangamam. Three years later, Jaya Prada decided to tie the knot with famed producer Srikant Nahata. Nahata was once married to Chandra with whom he had three children. The marriage stirred public discussions since there was no divorce between Nahata and his original wife.
