Genelia D'Souza is Bollywood actress, anchor and model. She has also worked in a south movies. She was born in 5th August,1987 in Mumbai in a Mangalorean Chatholic family. Her mother was Managing Director in a Pharma Multinational Cooperation but she left that job to support Genelia in her carrier. His father is a senior officer in TCS. Genelia has completed her education from 'Apostolic Carmel High School' in Bandra. And she has persued her bachelor degree from 'St. Andrew's College'. Genelia completed her degree while shooting for her first film that was “Tujhe Meri Kasam” in 2003. In college times, Genelia liked sports and studies and she was state level athelet, sprinter and a national level football player. Genelia has sighned her first modeling assignment when she was 15 years old. She was selected for the 'Parker Pen' commercial with Amitabh Bachchan. Genelia got married to Ritesh deshmukh on 3rd Feb,2012. Genelia is a wonderful performer that is the reason she became popular through her bubbly nature and performance in movies. In June 2008, she appeared in a movie name as “Mere Baap Pehle Aap”. But this movie does not get hit at the box office. Her breakthrough performance was seen in the movie “Jane Tu Ya Jaane Na” in 2008. That was the block buster hit movie. This movie has gained lots of profit. And the role of Genelia in that movie was admired by viewer. In 2009, Genelia appeared in a movie “Life Patner”. After that she has appeared in many other movies also.
