Ayesha Takia is an Indian actress born on 10th April, 1985 in Mumbai. Ayesha started her career with the advertising campaign ‘I am a Complan Girl!’ alongwith Shahid Kapoor. She was also seen in a music videos, Meri Chunarii Udd Udd Jaye sung by Falguni Pathak and Shake It Daddy. Her first released film was Taarzan: The Wonder Car which fetched her Filmfare Best Debut Award in 2004. She was also appreciated for her performance in Nagesh Kukunoor's Dor and won many awards for this movie. She also appeared in a Telugu film, Super in 2005. In 2009, she acted opposite Salman Khan in the movie, which emerged as a big hit. She also starred in Paathshaala along with Shahid Kapoor in 2010. In 2011, she starred in Mod for which she got good response. Ayesha married a restaurateur, Farhan Azmi on 1 March 2009.
