Emraan Anwar Hashmi is an Indian actor. He was born on 24th March, 1979. He belongs to Muslim family born in Pulgaon, Maharashtra, India. He was born to Anwar Hashmi and Mahira Hashmi. Emraan Hashmi married to his long time girlfriend 'Parveen Shahani' on December 2006. He has son 'Ayaan Hashmi' born on February 4th 2004. He has completed his studies from 'Sydenham College', Mumbai and 'University Of Mumbai'. Emraan Hashmi used his screen name 'Farhaan Hashmi' for few months in early part of his career. Later he went back to using Emraan Hashmi. Emraan is Brother-in-law of Bollywood actress 'Udita Goswami'. He is the cousin of actress 'Alia Bhatt', 'Pooja Bhatt' and 'Mohit Suri'. Director and Producer 'Mahesh Bhatt' and 'Mukesh Bhatt' are uncle's of Emraan Hashmi. Emraan Hashmi worked as a Assistant Director with Vishesh Films before staring his career as an actor in Bollywood. Emraan Hashmi worked as assistance director in Vikram Bhatt's 'Raaj' in 2002. Later on he got his first break in Mahesh Bhatt's 'Footpath' in 2003. After that he worked in Mahesh Bhatt's movie, Murder in 2004. This was the commercial success of 2004 and becoming the 9th highest grossing film of the year. After movie, Murder he played a role young millionaire who falls in love with a bar girl played by Diya Mirza in Tumsa Nahi Dekha. In 2011, he worked in 'The Dirty Picture' opposite Vidya Balan which was Milan Luthria's biopic. He was nominated for various awards. He became famous as the 'Serial Kisser' for his sex scenes in films.
