The BMW 8 Series was based on a v-8/V-12 engine and the car was built from 1989 to 1999. The car formed an entirely new class aimed at an entirely new market. The price was substantially higher and its performance was substantially higher. 8 series was BMW’s most advanced car and in that time it was also its flagship car. The top speed of the car was limited and it was 155 MP/h. The development of the car began in the year of 1986 and the car was debut in the Frankfurt Motor Show in the early September of 1989. The total amount spent on its development was close to 1.5 million Deutschemarks.
