Bajaj officially introduces 3 NEW shades for the Pulsar 200NS

Bajaj Auto has officially introduced 3 NEW shades for the Pulsar 200NS. Known as ‘Safire Blue and Ebony Black’, ‘Passion Red and Ebony Black’ and ‘Metallic White and Ebony Black’, the new shades are dual-tone and the graphics/decals are also new. Other than these dual-tone paint jobs, the bike is available in all-black shade dubbed as ‘Ebony Black’. With the introduction of these shades, Bajaj has discontinued 3 single-tone shades: Blue, Yellow and Red.

Pulsar 200NS is powered by a 199.5cc, 4-valve engine with triple-spark technology. It develops maximum power of 23.17 BHP at 9500 rpm and maximum torque of 18.3 NM at 8000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The approx. mileage of the bike is 30 kmpl in city and you can expected anything around 40 kmpl on highways.

The company claimed top-speed of the bike is 136 kmph and it can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 3.61 seconds and 0-100 kmph in 9.83 seconds. Pulsar 200NS features a digital/analogue instrument cluster which consists of an analogue tachometer, digital speedometer, fuel gauge, trip meter and odometer.

The bike is equipped with a 280mm front disc brake and 230mm rear disc brake. The front suspension of Pulsar 200NS is ‘37mm Telescopic Fork with Antifriction Bush’ and the rear one is ‘Nitrox Mono Shock Absorber with piggy back gas canister’.

The main rivals of Bajaj Pulsar 200NS are TVS Apache RTR 180, Yamaha R15, Bajaj Pulsar 220F, Hero Karizma ZMR and KTM 200 Duke. Following is the price list of 200NS:

• Mumbai: INR 85,500
• Chennai: INR 89,800
• Chandigarh: INR 88,200
