Amrita Arora: About

Amrita Arora was born in Chembur, Mumbai on 31 January, 1981. Her mother is from Malay named Joyce Polycorp and father is from Punjab named Anil Arora. She is known as a bollywood actress though she started her career as a VJ. Her sister Malaika Arora Khan is also a renowned face in bollywood film industry. She made her debut with the film Kitne Door Kitne Paas in 2002 as opposite of Fardeen Khan. It was not as successful as expected to be. Her first successful movie was an action comedy Awara Pagaal Deewana. Then Amrita Arora had some flop movies like Girlfriend which was also controversial for its lesbian relationship theme. She had a good year in 2007 as she made special appearance in Farah Khan’s Om Shanti Om and some mixed experienced movies like Speed and Red: The Dark Side.
